Abstract
In oncology, immunotherapeutic approaches have revolutionized the management of many cancer types. These treatments, although very effective, are associated with immune adverse events that are new and poorly known, including neurological adverse events. These side effects, if not recognized and treated early, present not only a risk to neurological function, but also to the oncological prognosis. This master's thesis briefly explains the different immunotherapeutic approaches used in oncology before presenting a systematic review of the literature identifying the neurological adverse events known to date in both the central and peripheral nervous systems. Management recommendations for each adverse event are also discussed. Finally, the architecture and functioning of a database allowing prospective capturing of patients with neurological complications related to immune oncology treatments are discussed.
