Abstract
This working paper, based on a household survey in selected wards of the Greater Colombo Region, Sri Lanka, explores the waste management practices of households, focusing on waste generation, composition, segregation and disposal. It also examines waste collection activities of the local councils and the impact of the collapse of the Meethotamulla dumping site and the spread of SARS COV-19 virus.
