Abstract
SARS-CoV2 is leading to an unprecedented crisis. Patients with advanced age, obesity or respiratory/cardiovascular conditions display an increased risk of severe COVID-19, but pediatric data are very few when no data are available about cystic fibrosis (CF).
We report a 9-year-old girl case presenting an asymptomatic COVID-19 despite severe CF lung disease (multiresistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, diffuse bronchiectasis, haemoptysis, oxygen/ventilatory support). She remained stable without new symptom or Chest-X-ray worsening.
There is a legitimate concern that CF increases the severity of COVID-19, but this case is remarkably hopeful. However, international collaboration is required to study the impact of COVID-19 on CF.
