Abstract
This article focuses on the constitution of corpus in African literature by women, comparing the legacy of Jean-Marie Volet to the library of Lausanne with the anthologies edited by Margaret Busby and devoted to "daughters of Africa" in 1992 and 2019. The significance of such anthologies and collections is then discussed in relation to the development of African literature through the concept of "rememory" such as developed and explained by Toni Morrison.
