Abstract
Triorchidism is a rare congenital abnormality of the genitourinary tract. The first surgical case was described in 1895 by Lane. The authors report an interesting case of 2 separate right testes found when a left twisted testis was removed. The generally endorsed necessity to remove the duplicate testis in triorchidism is discussed. This procedure has been recommended because of the risk of torsion.
