Abstract
The incorporation of storytelling dynamics into diverse gaming frameworks has led to the emergence of serious narrative games, among which tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) have received growing attention in recent years. In TTRPGs, groups of players create fictional characters and are involved in adventures in which they coordinate their efforts to engage in interactions and histories that they construct through their shared imagination and narrations. By tackling complex and significant topics through immersive storytelling, these games could constitute relevant tools in psychological contexts.
