Résumé
The epigram CEG 392 bears the first sure - but not yet noticed - epigraphic attestation of the lack of the third compensatory lengthening in the Euboean dialect. Other Euboean and non-Euboean linguistic features are discussed in the light of the practice of dialect mixing typical of Greek epigrams.
