Résumé
This is the third paper in a series of three clinical papers on how parental traumatization affects the development of intersubjectivity during sensitive periods of early childhood in the context of child neurodevelopmental disorder and in the context of Margaret Mahler's developmental theory of separation-individuation. Clinical examples include those of young children suffering from autistic spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder with an eye to the intergenerational complexity imposed by these children's difficulties in the context of their relationship to traumatized mothers who have experienced interpersonal violence and childhood maltreatment.
