Abstract
In this article we address the question of oral didactics and of the exercise of educative responsibility in a school context, from a philosophical point of view. To face the double injunction of becoming an individual and becoming autonomous, inherent to a democratic world and to which each human being is confronted, it is essential to master the words and what can be achieved through them. Hence, a wide, intricate and partly renewed acceptation of the notions of authority and kindness seems to be a relevant mean to support the pupil in this task.
