Au lendemain des soulèvements qui agitent le Maghreb et le Proche-Orient à partir de 2011, il semble plus que jamais légitime de lancer des passerelles entre l’étude des résistances, des mouvements sociaux et des révolutions, et ce par-delà les distinctions d’ordre politique ou culturel. Dès les années 1980, Politique africaine figure parmi les pionniers de ces « appels d’air(e) ». Cet article mobilise la notion de « politisation » pour poursuivre le dialogue amorcé il y a quelques décennies. À partir de l’analyse d’actions protestataires qui ont eu lieu au Maroc en 2018, il invite aussi à penser ensemble des politisations différentielles.
Keeping the politicization debate up
In the aftermath of the uprisings that shook the Maghreb and the Middle East from 2011, it seems more appropriate than ever to build bridges between the study of resistance, social movements and revolutions beyond political or cultural distinctions. Since the 1980s, Politique africaine has been among the pioneers of these initiatives. This article uses the notion of “politicization” to follow up on the dialogue that began a few decades ago. Based on the analysis of protest actions that took place in Morocco in 2018, it also invites us to think about different kinds of politicization together.
