Couple's conflicts are rarely seen in the oncological context, however, when they occur, they tend to disturb the caregivers and force them to act. It is not always necessary to cure the conflict, which can often be understood as a symptom. The concept of collusion can help understand a couple's conflict, as well as caregivers' attitude toward them. Psychologists can help caregivers to identify these collusions and to take distance from them.
