Résumé
A five-year decision-tree model of HCV screening and a Markov model of HCV treatment with a lifetime time horizon were used to evaluate the cost effectiveness of HCV screening in all 5421 people living in detention in Switzerland (based on 2015 data), compared with screening in those from high-risk populations only (current strategy), from a healthcare provider perspective. It was assumed that patients who were HCV viraemia-positive received a single-tablet DDA regimen.
