Résumé
We read with great interest the results of the study by Lucena et al.(1) and present the following comments related to the paper.
Lucena et al. presented a series of 21-cocaine-related sudden deaths (SD) showing two main structural abnormalities, cardiac hypertrophy and atherosclerotic coronary disease. Both abnormalities have been previously considered as a consequence of a chronic cocaine abuse, but could also be related to others cardiovascular risk factors, as admitted by Lucena et al.
