Acromioclavicular trauma is a frequent pathology of the upper limb. Stages 1 and 2 don't required surgery. On the other hand more severe lesions (stages 3-6) often need a surgical care, even if there is not any consensus about the most appropriate treatment. We reviewed here the main steps in the diagnosis and treatment of the acromioclavicular lesions.
