Résumé
The use of health related emerging technologies is growing fast. The case of virtual reality in diabetes care still remains unprecedented, notably in Switzerland. Relying on an empirical pilot study, our reflexion aims to discuss the indisputable intersubjective attribute of this device, moving away from usual pragmatic and concrete issues related to it. From an interactionist framework, we will address patients and caregivers’ perspectives, expectations and appropriations of this object.
