This article proposes - through the prism of a thorough reading of Ruwen Ogien's work - a minimalist investment in the question of the relationship between art and ethics. We first present the main strengths of this author's position on ethics. We then attempt to identify and argue what would be, in regard to the four axes of reflection proposed in this issue of the journal (value of art; ethics of creation; ethics of reception; ethical criticism), a minimalist position faithful to Ogien’s approach in the course of his works.
