Résumé
BACKGROUND: A possible strategy for increasing smoking quit rates could be to provide smokers with feedback on the biomedical or potential future effects of smoking, such as with measurement of their exhaled carbon monoxide (CO) level, lung functions, or genetic susceptibility to lung cancer. The objective of the study was to review systematically data on smoking cessation rates from controlled trials that used physiological feedback.
