Abstract
As part of our liaison psychiatry consultation, we regularly see young adults with juvenile epilepsy who are referred because of psychiatric symptoms that complicate the management of their epilepsy : worsening seizures, poor medication compliance, irregular follow-up. Juvenile epilepsy is associated with serious consequences that have a significant impact on the identity construction of these young patients, their degree of autonomy, and their level of socioprofessional integration.
