The main questions asked of bioarchaeologists and forensic anthropologists when confronted with human remains are the biological profile, origin, pathologies, and possible fractures. Isotopic analyses on dietary behavior and mobility patterns help to understand living conditions. Additional face reconstructions may be helpful to visualize the individual. However, forensic and physical anthropologists, and bioarchaeologists may play an important role when establishing a possible cause of death of an individual (Stanojevich 2012). Questions in this case are linked to the circumstances of the individuals’ death: how and why the individual died and are there any traces of a possible violent act?
