Le ‚Zürcher Buch vom heiligen Karl‘ (avant 1475) est une compilation de sources allemandes et latines sur Charlemagne, assemblées pour présenter une vie du saint. L’article analyse le préambule du ‚Zürcher Buch‘, l’histoire de Florus et Pantschiflur, racontée selon le roman ‚Flore und Blanscheflur‘ de Konrad Fleck (vers 1200), lui-même adapté du ‚Conte de Floire et Blancheflor‘, et met en évidence le remaniement structurel et l’interprétation hagiographique du texte par l’auteur de la mise en prose.
The Zürcher Buch vom heiligen Karl (before 1475) is a compilation of German and Latin sources about Charlemagne, brought together in order to present a saint’s life. The article analyses the opening of the Zürcher Buch, which contains the story of Florus and Pantschiflur as told in Konrad Fleck’s romance Flore und Blanscheflur (c. 1200), and which is an adaptation of the Conte de Floire et Blancheflor. The episode highlights the structural reworking of the text as well as the hagiographic interpretations of the author of the Zürcher Buch.
